Power Chairs
There are generally three different styles of Electric Wheelchairs. Rear Wheel Drive, Front Wheel Drive and all four Wheel driven. Each style has different handling characteristics and therefore are designed for specific uses. Electric Powered Wheelchairs or Powerchairs can be designed specifically for indoor use, outdoor use - or even both. Electric wheelchairs or Power chairs are generally for people who have a difficulty using a manual wheelchair. Perhaps due to arm, shoulder, hand injuries or conditions. The controls are generally a joystick controller on the arm of the Electric Wheelchair.
