Wheelchairs
There are many different types of wheelchairs from which to choose such as manual wheelchairs - self or attendant propelled, and battery operated wheelchairs (or Powerchairs). Manual chairs are generally catagorised as being passive or active, the latter best suited to users retaining upper body strength and continuing to lead an active lifestyle. Your choice will depend on what your needs are and a proper assessment will determine which chair to be most suitable.
